Deadly Monthly: Valentina, Superfood Live + Deadly DJs and more

deadly monthly

The Deadly Monthly is NINE and 2013 sees it get even bigger.

Greco-Roman’s Valentina is our first headliner of the year. You’ll know her as the vocalist for Joe Goddard’s massive hit Gabriel as well as being amazing as part of live experience of KINDNESS. Valentina has finished her debut EP and it’s insanely good.

Four-piece Superfood are also playing live. We’re not gonna lie…they’re our tip for best new band of 2013. Peace have a huge band crush on them and their debut single is out in March. There’s nothing online about them so be the first to say you were there.

We’re also having our usual indie disco afterwards with Deadly DJs, Beat Pyramid and Neu DJs all playing the hits.

It’s free before 11pm and £5 afterwards. We recommend you getting there a bit earlier since it has been getting busy.

Mehdi

It has taken a week for it to sink in. Mehdi was an amazing, inspiring, encouraging and beautiful person.

We were so lucky to spend a bunch of time with him and we’ll never forget him or his memorable “Mehdi dance”.

We miss him deeply and send our love to his family and gang of friends worldwide.

A new wave of cocktails

Whichever city I end up in I always try and find a new flavour of booze. A kink of a classic loved by locals. In New York, Drop The Lime introduced me (thankfully) to the Perfect Manhattan.
